Plot[]
The series follows a group of four pirates who, in the course of fighting, drinking, making money and seeking love, encounter an ancient and powerful evil.
Attracted by promises of power and success, the crew gets sucked into a situation far beyond what most pirates could handle - but these are no ordinary pirates!
Ghosts of Saltmarsh[]
Ghosts of Saltmarsh was a three-episode mini-series which is considered the precursor for what would eventually be Pirates of Salt Bay. The cast and main characters from Ghosts of Saltmarsh carried over into Salt Bay, as well as the main baddie, Hadal.
Tales from Salt Bay[]
After the series finale of Pirates of Salt Bay, it was announced that a new interlude series would take its place. Officially called Tales from Salt Bay, this interlude series saw several of the players from Salt Bay run their own one-or-more-parter interludes with the system and/or setting of their choosing. Regular GM of Salt Bay, Aabria Iyengar, joined each interlude as a player.
