Summary
In this episode, the crew of the Moray are met with Soleia, one of Sapheia's children, before they depart from their visit to Purphoros. Soleia mentions that there is something urgent with Alestra, their mother. Thus, the Pact jump to the material plane, where they sail to a small, unsuspecting island that seemed abandoned at first, but was in fact inhabited by pigs and other animals. As it turns out, the island is home to Alestra, where she had turned adventuring pirates into the animals and has hinted that she has eaten some of them, or others that were also turned into animals. Alestra reveals that she has in her possession a machine that can amplify lower-level spells, with an unfortunate caveat that using it may lead to temporary side effects. After a back-and-forth of Sapheia and Alestra polymorphing each other - and even Astorok being temporarily polymorphed into a human - the crew part ways with Alestra and Soleia, with a repaired ship, ready to sail towards Chalcis in search of Odexys.
