Summary
At a fundraising ball, events are set into motion with far reaching effects. Dame Clara offends Marchioness Pembroke, Rupert hatches a plan to discredit his sister Rosaline, Adelaide is introduced to society and catches Daniel spying on Rosaline, and Rosaline first hears of Adelaide, her friend Clara's latest mentoring project.
